Abbie, 26. Has wealth of experience with children, she is a very approachable and patient person. She has been working as a counsellor in a camp in Canada for 5 years, organizing outdoor education activities for groups of kids as well as arts and crafts since she is a pottery specialist.

She has also worked as a live in nanny and has experience looking after new born babies, helping them adapt to their sleep routines and supporting the mother when feeding. She feels very comfortable within a family environment whilst maintaining boundaries.

"Abbie Keegan displayed so many valuable skills as a camp counsellor. She is sweet, fun, positive, creative, patient and responsible. The kids in her section and cabin quickly felt comfortable because of the effort she put towards making an inclusive, comfortable and fun environment. When dealing with camper issues she always stepped up and took initiative to problem solve and work as a team to come up with different strategies to solve individual conflicts. With very little guidance from me, Abbie naturally handled these situations using the tools and training provided.

Abbie is a strong, mature and reliable role model at our camp. She has demonstrated what it looks like to be a great camp counsellor with an optimistic and enthusiastic attitude always ready to dive in and do whatever is needed. During section events, programming or activities she was always quick to play a large role and go over and beyond with her creative skills. Abbie has always put forth so much love and compassion towards her section and taking the time to appreciate and understand campers for who they are as individuals. Anyone would be lucky to have her look after their child. I wouldn’t hesitate and highly recommend Abbie as an employee, specifically working with children."

"To Whom It May Concern,

It is with great pleasure that I can recommend Abbie as a nanny. She helped look after my new-born son during last summer and it was an absolute joy to have her be a part of our little family.

Abbie is a warm and kind individual with a big heart, she understood and was empathetic to my concerns about being a new mom showing nothing but compassion and support.

Abbie helped build a positive and nurturing environment whilst not only exceeding in her childcare abilities, she also helped establish bedtime and feeding routines. She was also incredibly helpful when it came to household chores.

As a new mom it is incredibly hard to separate from your new-born leaving them in the care of another, however I never had any doubts or concerns when leaving my little man with Abbie. I was always incredibly confident knowing he would be well nurtured and loved whilst I was away.

I can’t recommend Abbie enough especially for anyone anxious about leaving their little ones for the first time, you should be nothing but confident they are in the best hands possible."
