Working with children is her passion, and she has gained experience of working with children ranging in age from neonates to adolescents. In addition she has experience of working with children with physical disabilities and developmental delays, varying in severity.

Grace is also an active member of the Piha Surf Lifesaving Club (since 2010). She is a senior patrolling guard, and a member of the Piha Women’s U23 Surf Boat Crew competing at a National level. Through the club she has completed a number of First Aid and First Responder courses and was a member of their Junior Lifeguard Exchange programme with Huntington Beach California.

Her references have nothing but good works to say about her:

'I have had the privilege of working with Grace during her time as a registered pediatric nurse at Starship Hospital. Grace was responsible for caring for 4-5 unwell patients (newborn to 17yrs) during her 12hr shifts. Grace was always able to accomodate to her patients and families needs whilst providing safe care. Grace is highly respected on our ward and is a great team player. Working on a busy ward, being able to work under pressure and having great time management is key. These are just some of Graces strengths. She is a great communicator and is able to build rapport with her patients and families easily. Grace would be a great asset to any company and i wish her all the best.'

' Responsibilities included monitoring and surveillance of her patients, medication administration, family centred care, documentation, communication with the wider healthcare team, providing educaiton for patients and their families. Our ward is always very busy. Grace was able to remain calm and handle these stressful shifts even when the pressure was immense. She is a very reliable employee. Grace gets along with all members of the healthcare team and has great communication skills. She provides safe and reliable care to all of her patients and recieves excellent feedback on a regular basis.
It was a pleasure working alongside Grace, and I do believe she would be a great addition to the team at Alpine Angels Childcare.'
